1. Loosen two screws located in each end of mitre track slide. (Figure 1) Remove Mitre track
lock. (Figure 2)

2. Place desired log into the "Little Ripper". As many teeth as possible should be gripping the
log. (Figure 3) You can accomplish this by using the adjustable back pivots (Figure 4) and placing
top Aluminum Tensioning Block (Figure 5) most suitable tensioning groove.

3. When log is securly clamped, place "Little Ripper" onto bandsaw table with jaws pointing
toward blade. (Figure 6)
Figure 6
4. At this point the "Little Ripper" needs to be adjusted for distance from blade. The edge of unit
should be set no closer but as close as 1/4" depending on log size. You are now ready
to cut.
5. Log should be passed through blade with even pressure. Put a flat side on three sides of the
log, reclamping and repositing between passes.
6. Once the three sides of your log are cut flat unit can be turned 180 degrees and used as a fence.
Using the Unit as a Fence
1. When using the "Little Ripper" as a fence, first remove the log clamping mechanism. This
can be accomplished by removing upper and lower pins. (This step is done to prevent
any unnecessary rattling during cutting.)
2. Re-install centre mitre track lock.
3. Make unit straight with log.
4. Install fence into table by positioning fence onto table according to desired board width.
5. Once fence is positioned tighten all mitre track bolts. (Centre mitre track lock will lock unit
in position) Now you are ready to cut your wood into lumber.
